On January 28th nearly 100 people enjoyed a fun-filled comedy show provided by Pretty.Funny and Loaded Dice. The show was called Chuckling for Change and all proceeds went directly to Cycling for Change thanks to the generosity of both groups and of Rockhurst University for donating the use of the Mabee Theater. Over $1,300 in ticket sales and donations were raised which was enough to put cross country rider Karl Schafer over his fundraising goal of $10,000. The fun and fellowship continued afterwards at Charlie Hooper's bar and grill. In all there were plenty of laughs, dollars raised and conversations continued about the need to raise awareness and monies to fight poverty in our country. Thanks to all who made Chuckling for Change a great night!
